As part of Perseverance Theatre's Sharing the Story initiative, which launched in November 2019, businesses and organizations across Alaska can purchase tickets for underserved populations who might otherwise be unable to attend. Sharing the Story provides a dual opportunity for community members to both become patrons of the arts and to benefit underserved communities by breaking down barriers to artistic engagement.
Past Sharing the Story patrons have included:
- The Foundation for End-of-Life Care, who purchased tickets for those involved in palliative or hospice care for our 2019 production of With.
Organizations who subsidize tickets are eligible for special thanks in our programs. Tickets may be purchased for general admission or for specific show dates; if the latter, organizations can request to be recognized in our curtain speech for those nights.
