What better way for a theatre to acknowledge and celebrate Women’s History Month than with a lively conversation that includes Perseverance’s beloved Founder, Molly Smith, and our current Artistic Director, Leslie Ishii, to discuss their experiences over the years as women in theatre, and how these experiences shaped them?

What if you felt called to be a conductor and you earned high marks in music school, but your professor told you, “…no, only men are conductors, maestros?”

Join our conversation and find out what happened!

Perseverance Board Vice President and local Juneau favorite, Allison Holtkamp will moderate this dynamic discussion as we celebrate women in history and women in theatre.

Live-streaming Saturday, March 20 at 4 p.m. to our Facebook and YouTube. There will also be a link on our website. This event is FREE and open to the public. Donations are always welcome and appreciated at ptalaska.org/donate-now.
