Perseverance Theatre is officially accepting auditions for an upcoming production of Buyer and Cellar by Jonathan Tolins, directed by Colby Bleicher. Those auditioning will receive sides from the show and will be asked to submit a self-taped video for consideration.

SHOW DESCRIPTION:
A struggling actor in LA takes a job working in the Malibu basement of a beloved megastar. One day, the Lady Herself comes downstairs to play. This one-man tour de force is an outrageous comedy about the price of fame, the cost of things, and the oddest of odd jobs.
AUDITIONS:
Looking for non-union actors to play the role listed below. Those auditioning will be asked to submit a self-taped video of themselves with the sides from the show for consideration. Like in the show, the actor auditioning will portray all roles. Please make a distinct physical and vocal choice to distinguish Sharon from Alex.

An out-of-work actor recently fired from Disneyland. Quickwitted, cheeky, eager for approval. Actor will also play VINCENT, a former fling; SHARON, a household manager; BARRY, Alex’s boyfriend; LADY OF THE HOUSE, an icon; and JAMES, her husband. Experience in voice acting and pantomime is ideal but not required.
