Rotch has led Perseverance for eight seasons, dividing his time between executive responsibilities and the artistic work of curating seasons, directing, designing and producing. The theatre is recruiting a new managing director to take over operations, allowing Rotch, as artistic director, to focus on productions. Major philanthropic contributions this summer are supporting these and other steps forward for the company, now in its 40th year.
